Meet Dr. Park

Board-Certified Physician. Concierge Medicine. Functional Medicine.

Practicing medicine the way it was always meant to be practiced — with time, attention, and a doctor who knows you by name.

Her Story

Why she chose a different path

For years, Dr. Jennifer Park practiced within the conventional system — and for years she ran up against the same wall: a 15-minute appointment clock that never left enough time to actually help her patients. Brilliant, motivated people cycled through prescriptions that managed symptoms without anyone having the time to ask why those symptoms were there. Patients told their labs were "normal" who still felt unwell. The same story, over and over — dismissed, unheard, bounced from specialist to specialist without a coherent answer. The problem wasn't the medicine. It was the model: too many patients, too little time, no room for a real relationship.

Dr. Park wanted to practice differently — the way she believed medicine was meant to work. To sit with a patient long enough to hear the whole story. To know their history well enough to catch what a rushed visit would miss. To be genuinely available when something goes wrong, instead of routing them to a portal or a six-week wait. She became convinced that the quality of care depends less on any single treatment and more on the time and attention behind it — and that the only way to give patients that was to fundamentally change the model she worked within.

One Life Medicine was founded on that conviction: that every patient deserves a physician who has the time, the attention, and the tools to find real answers. Not another referral. Not another medication layered on the last. Not five minutes of face time before being shuffled out the door. Here, appointments are long, access is direct, and care is built on a relationship that actually knows you. This is the kind of medicine Dr. Park always wanted to practice — and the concierge model is what makes it possible.

What is Concierge Medicine?

Healthcare built on time and trust

Concierge medicine is a membership-based model where your physician deliberately limits their patient panel to provide genuinely personal care. Instead of managing thousands of patients, Dr. Park dedicates her practice to a select group of members — which means longer appointments, direct access to your doctor, proactive rather than reactive care, and a relationship built on real familiarity with you and your history. It's the foundation of everything at One Life Medicine: the time and attention that let a physician practice the way medicine is meant to be practiced. When your doctor isn't racing the clock, they can finally do the thing conventional care rarely has room for — look deeper.

A deeper clinical approach

Functional medicine, when your care calls for it

That "look deeper" is where functional medicine comes in. It's a systems-based approach that asks not just "what condition is this?" but "why is this happening, and what's driving it?" — investigating how the body's systems interact and where they're breaking down, rather than matching a drug to a diagnosis. For members whose health warrants it, this means comprehensive testing and a plan built around root causes, not just lab codes. It's not a separate service or an upsell; it's the depth the concierge relationship makes possible.
